Day 4: Duluth, MN to Rossport, ON

Duluth, which looked so bright and cheery last evening, was cold and gray and windy this morning, with choppy waves on Lake Superior. We rode around downtown, which is old and shabby. But then we rode around the border of this immense lake and saw one spectacular view after another. Rossport, about 100 miles east of Thunder Bay, is a tiny town of about 120 inhabitants on a pretty cove, and we are in a B & B with 4 guest rooms. A different world up here.
